Taper Tiger Families! Get ready for a Summer of Learning filled with enriching and educational content and activities, core academic support, opportunities to enhance student's mastery of academic subjects for college readiness, and enrichment courses designed to engage and motivate students in learning through self-selected courses of interest. Taper is excited to announce and congratulate our newly elected PTO Board members for the 2026–2027 school year. The dedication and energy our PTO volunteers bring to Taper is truly immeasurable. By supporting our students, partnering with our staff, and help fund vital programs, they directly enrich the educational experience for every single child on our campus. Simply put, we could not achieve half of what we do at Taper without our incredible PTO. We extend our deepest gratitude to our new board members and look forward to an outstanding, supportive school year ahead. Please join us in welcoming and thanking our new leaders!

Our school is enrolling 4 year olds for full-day on-campus classes. Your 4 year old child will have the opportunity to begin school for FREE.

Join us for a special community event straight out of our STEAM-Lab! "The LAB" (Learn, Act, Build) is hosting Taper's first school-wide, student-centered Farmers Market.

Date: Wednesday June 3rd, from 4pm-6pm.
Highlights: 100% organic goods and handmade student creations.
Food: Pizza dinners and fresh lemonade available for purchase.
Every single item for sale is handmade by our amazing students. Come hungry, support our young entrepreneurs, and celebrate their hard work! We can't wait to see you there!

Taper Families and Community! Please join us Saturday May 16th, 2026 at Gardena High School, as we celebrate the incredible work of the STEAM Magnet Schools and STEAM Academies in Region South. Come check out student projects that will be showcased through various mediums and presentations. Show your support for Taper and other region south schools by stopping by the different school's booths. This will be a day of fun, full of activities and performances for the entire family.
